kabash01Kitchen and bath remodels are not the easiest projects to tackle but they sure do give you a lot of bang for your buck. In most areas of the country, you can expect better than 75% return on investment in the value of your home for dollars well spent updating these areas.

We just finished a hall bath project that added style, flair and personality to an otherwise dated and boring bathroom.

We replaced everything in this bathroom. New ceramic tile with mosaic glass border in shower from ProSource, contemporary vanity from HDC, new light fixture from Lamps Plus and hardware from BB&B, brushed nickel faucets and fixtures from Home Depot.

The wall color is a deep eggplant from Benjamin Moore’s Affinity palette called “Kasbah”.

I wanted to try a different look for the mirror so I took a more narrow floor mirror, removed the kick stand and hung it higher on the wall leaving negative space above the backsplash.

My client loves the new look.

(After photo taken with wide angle lens thus the distortion… room’s footprint wasn’t altered)
