As your trusted, local interior decorator for over 20 years, I know the current economic landscape—with shifting markets and the specter of tariffs—has raised valid concerns about costs, timelines, and even the necessity for home updates and decorating. I want to assure you that, despite these concerns, I’m still doing what I’ve always done: delivering the stylish spaces you want and deserve while spending your money the way I spend my own, and that’s responsibly!
While the market may be unpredictable, my approach to design has always been the same: providing exceptional value. Rather than add insult to injury by further inflating the cost of materials, I’ve always chosen the simple approach of trading hours for dollars for my vision and expertise. Fair and competitive pricing for my services has been at the heart of every project, big or small, and continues to shape how I work today.
I also provide every client with the option of doing whichever parts of the project they feel comfortable doing themselves. ‘Sweat equity’, to whatever degree, has nothing but a positive effect on the bottom line. That way, you can customize how we work together, taking care of the things you feel comfortable addressing while leaving the rest to me.

I start each project by developing a budget with you which balances your vision with the realities of the market. I also keep a close eye on expenses throughout the project, making adjustments where needed to ensure I stay on track, without compromising the end result.
Finding Cost-Effective Solutions: I’m committed to finding smart, cost-effective solutions which still deliver great design. I’m known for saying, “It’s not what you spend as much as how you use what you buy”. With over 2 decades of experience finding the best possible decorating solutions at the best possible prices, I’d say I’m well positioned to continue providing value for my clients, regardless of price increases or where we shop. As your decorator, part of my job is to think creatively, maximizing value and minimizing costs, without compromising our goals or vision.
Clear Communication and Transparency: I’ve always believed good communication is key, especially since things can and do change as our work together evolves. You’ll be the first to know if anything changes which might affect your project, whether it’s material costs or timelines. By being transparent, we can work together to make the best decisions as we go.

Adapting to Market Shifts: Supply chains and costs are constantly evolving. (We all learned that lesson the hard way during Covid.) As detail-oriented and focused as I am, I still work very hard at being flexible. Whether it’s dealing with tariff increases or adjusting to supply chain hiccups, I keep a close eye on every aspect of your project and use my experience to anticipate challenges before they come up.
