Isn't professional design help only for the rich & famous?
Like you, those rich & famous folks you see on television deal with the same home issues everyone faces. While they might have “deeper” pockets or the ability to hire famous designers, that doesn’t mean those who are less rich or famous can’t afford or enjoy professional design help.
Stuff is just stuff, regardless of how much you pay for it. Our belief is: It’s not what you spend, but how you use what you buy that matters. We also believe everyone deserves a beautiful home. And we’re here to help you make the most of whatever “stuff” you own or can afford to ensure your home looks amazing!
Do I have any control of what we do or buy?
Of course, YOU are always in control. We do our best to get to know you, your taste and style and help you bring YOUR vision to life. We ask a lot of questions so we can become an extension of you and help guide you toward the beautiful end result you want.
I can get FREE design help at the local home store, why should I pay you?
Why do you charge by the hour rather than a set fee?
Every design project is different and some can be very fluid. Ask anyone who’s done home improvement before. They’ll tell you, one change often leads to unexpected others. Charging hourly gives our clients the opportunity to customize our services to fit their need and budget while anticipating scope creep for us.
How long will my project take?
Once again, every project is different. After your initial consultation, we will be able to provide you with an estimated budget and timeline for your project. Price increases and supply chain issues as well as other elements outside our control may affect both. However, we will update you, as necessary, along the way.
Do I get a reveal like they do on HGTV?
YES! Although you may get a few previews of our work along the way, we enjoy a good “reveal” at the end as much as our clients do. Leaving us to do our work privately allows us to be more relaxed and creative without being “watched”. It’s ugly before it’s pretty! We want you to come home to see every little detail as perfect as we can make them.
