Wreaths are a great decorative accent for the holidays. They come in all shapes and sizes and are made of just about any material you can imagine. We’re all used to seeing wreaths on doors and perhaps over fireplaces, but there are so many more uses for these symbols of holiday cheer. Here are a few other possible uses to inspire you this Christmas:

Twig Wreath

1- Cut a wire backed wreath so you can slip it around your chandelier for a quick and easy way to dress up this dining room focal point. The wired greenery makes a great foundation for adding beaded fruit, floral and other picks.

2- Swag your garlands along the mantel or railing of your home. Work in a wreath in the center of the mantel or a logical focal point at the top of your staircase for an added punch.

Wreath Over Window Inside

3- Hang wreaths from ribbon over windows both inside and out. And wreaths make a great substitute for other artwork you have hanging year-round.

Wreath Over Window Outside

4- Wreaths add drama to table tops. Place and appropriate sized wreath on your dining or coffee table. Then use it to frame a vignette of different sized candles, figurines or maybe a large clear glass vase filled with colorful ornaments.

5- Use a wreath to embellish artwork you already have. In this instance we used a pinecone wreath to add a touch of Christmas to this metal art medallion.

6- A wreath of cinnamon sticks for your kitchen is sure to wow your guests and add a touch of whimsy.
