Staging a house can make the difference between ‘liking’ and ‘loving’ a home to a potential buyer. And since you never get a second chance to make a first impression, as they say, why not make it one that will ‘wow’ your lookers when they walk in the door? We just finished working on a stunning property in West Dundee this week that will do just that!
During our initial consultation, I walked the owners through every room of the house and discussed what could and should be done to improve the salability of the space. We discussed the usual de-cluttering and de-personalizing. But, in some instances, more was needed to really make a difference a buyer would appreciate.
Buyers hate To-Dos in their brand new home. So, to avoid that problem, I left my clients with a list of their own “To-Dos” to address before I returned to stage the property. They did everything I suggested and more including painting a few of the rooms and putting a bunch of “stuff” in storage to free up valuable real estate!
A few weeks later, and with a car load of cost-effective but powerful additions, we were ready to put the icing on their staging cake! And here are the stunning results:
