Rock-aby baby… or something like that!  Had a lot of fun decorating for a baby shower this weekend. Simple, but elegant was the theme for this mother-to-be’s celebration.

We began by crafting 4 large flower arrangements as centerpieces using a combination of cream mini roses, lime green carnations, white dendrobiums, standard and mini pink carnations and, of course, baby’s breath for a new baby girl.  To give the floral centerpieces even more punch, we set them on clear glass cylinders filled with rice lights.20160716_123223

We created a countertop tablescape using ordinary boxes of different sizes to raise the catered trays of food to different heights.  Pink and white receiving blankets on top of a freshly pressed white sheet was all we needed to cover the boxes.   Fresh flowers coupled with a stuffed animal, baby bottles filled with pink n white gum and baby booties were all we needed to complete the look.

Pearlized white and pink helium balloons tied with organza were placed in every room.  Cut out letters topped the outdoor patio table with an orchid spray.  White & pink chocolate pearls filled martini glasses were scattered around.20160716_122757
